Dan D’Agostino Master Audio Systems’ new Pendulum integrated features the reference sound quality that Dan’s designs are known for but in a compact chassis, and has the flexibility to add phono and/or DAC modules to create a complete single-box solution.
Performance starts with an input circuit derived from the Momentum C2 preamp, and continues with a massive power supply enabling the integrated to deliver 120 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 240 watts into 4 ohms. One RCA and three balanced XLR inputs are included, along with a Bluetooth-enabled remote that has a clever ergonomic design and LCD screen offering easy control of the unit’s functions. Optional modules include a moving coil phono stage, and a DAC module that includes optical and HDMI eARC digital inputs and RJ45 and WiFi network connections.
